I really want to know who prefers the output of %c... K&R, perhaps?

$ date "+%x %X"
08/11/2008 01:55:29 AM

$ date "+%c"
Mon 11 Aug 2008 01:55:31 AM CDT

I'd really love to see %c do smart relative dates, but that'll never
happen.
