Pidgin is string frozen!

I just tried with zh_CN.UTF-8 and the first character has an
underscore beneath it (on the "Advanced" tab when modifying an
account's settings).  I guess maybe this isn't useful(?), but it
doesn't seem to be causing problems, at least.
